Philip Mangano’s crusade against homelessness began in a cinema. It was the 1970s, and Mangano was working in Los Angeles as a music agent. One day he went to see a film called “Brother Sun, Sister Moon.” Mangano didn’t know anything about the movie except that its director, Franco Zeffirelli, was one of his favorites.
