Meg Wiehe is the deputy director of the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy and a state tax policy expert, focusing on how tax and budget policies affect low- and moderate-income families and on the intersection of tax and budget policies with state and local governments' ability to fund basic public priorities. Before joining ITEP in 2010, she worked at the North Carolina Budget and Tax Center. She holds a master's degree in public administration from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
