Jesse Gubb

Jesse Gubb is a research manager at J-PAL North America, a regional office of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab, a research center at MIT that aims to reduce poverty by ensuring that policy is informed by scientific evidence. Gubb supports the implementation of randomized evaluations, particularly in health care and social-service delivery. He also leads J-PAL North America's work on the IDEA Initiative, working with data holders like state and local governments and nonprofits to make their data more accessible for research and evidence-informed decision making. He holds a Ph.D. in political science from Harvard University.
