Jeremy Kalin

Senior Fellow

Jeremy served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2007 to 2010, where he applied his real-world knowledge of energy efficiency and green building to chief author the nation’s strongest energy conservation law, the Demand Efficiency Act of 2007. He quickly earned a reputation as a national leader on clean energy policy and served as co-chair of Minnesota’s Green Jobs Task Force and founding Chair of CLEAN – the national Coalition of Legislators for Energy Action Now – where he worked closely with the White House, leading bipartisan clean energy champions, and clean tech innovators. Today, Jeremy’s network reaches into all 50 states, and into nearly every area of technology and clean energy financing.

Jeremy is the proud papa of Eutectics Consulting, and an even prouder dad to twins Jonah and Leah, born in July 2011. Jeremy’s wife, Hope, is a doctor. The family lives in Minneapolis.  Jeremy has a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law, and a B.F.A. in ceramics from the University of Minnesota, where we first learned of the eutectic phenomenon.
