Dayna Bennett has been chief of staff to Gary, Ind., Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson since August 2015. Prior to that, she was the chief deputy with the Calumet Township, Ind., Trustee’s Office. She has a bachelor of science degree in finance from Roosevelt University.
