Bob Wise, a Democrat who served as governor of West Virginia from 2001 to 2005, is a member of the advisory board of the Hunt Institute's Hunt-Kean Leadership Fellows program and a former CEO of the Alliance for Excellent Education. Wise served in the U.S. House of Representatives for 18 years, from 1983 to 2001. Previously, he served in the West Virginia Senate.
