jersey-1.jpgAs
previously stated, once you start writing about state slogans and tourism, you just can't stop. It's a story begging for a story teller, a song begging for a singer.
Anyway, here's the
news from Jersey:
New Jersey has jettisoned ''Come See For Yourself,'' its second attempt at a state slogan in less than a year. It was the product of a statewide contest set up last fall, after the governor rejected a consultant's offering: ''We'll Win You Over.''
We
told you it was lame.
