Fifty percent of the state's voters have a favorable view of the governor -- a 4 percent increase since March, according to a Rutgers-Eagleton poll.
Christie's rise in popularity was mostly among men -- whose approval of Christie went up 7 percent since March while women's only increased 2 percent.
The negative ratings divided the sexes even further, with 45 percent of women reporting negative opinions of the governor versus 31 percent of all New Jersey voters, according to Politico.
The state's independent voters have also reportedly come around to Christie -- increasing their favorability of the him by 12 percent since March.
