The city, it seems, has been bragging about the green credentials of a new 57-story skyscraper that's currently under construction downtown. Part of the boast is the flushless urinals planned for the building, which are expected to save 1.6 million gallons of water a year.

Not so fast, says the plumber's union. Less flushing means less work for professional plumbers. According to the AP, the union has expressed its opposition to city officials, whose approval of the toilets is still pending.
