"Truly momentous set of victories - both KS and Kline [beaten] 59-41, in a state where the R:D registration edge is almost 2:1.  Dems far outraised Rs in party $$ (8 to 1), and helped create a tide that enabled Nancy Boyda to defeat Jim Ryun in KS2.

"We're not a blue state yet, but GOP conservatives suffered a major setback tonight -- and GOP will have to figure out how to compete with a Dem Party that has successfully occupied the KS center."
