Survivor: Columbus, OH

But we'd all be well served to review the case of Chris Daugherty, a highway worker with the Ohio Department of Transportation --- who was also the winner of the fourth season of the reality show "Survivor."

He brought home a million bucks for his win, but he returned to his $34,000 job at the DOT.

But it turns out he lied to his boss (that would be the state of Ohio) to get time off for a promotional tour for the show. He told the state he needed time off because he was under stress and suffering from depression.

I'm not sure what the lesson is here [lie more creatively?] but hopefully you'll take this story to heart the next time you win a reality show.
