tombstone-1.jpg On Nov. 1, 2005, officials announced that Anthony Williams'
blog had passed away. At less than two months old, the online journal was quite young. It had
struggled for life almost since birth, but
briefly rallied before ultimately succumbing this week. After lying in a persistent vegetative state since the last entry on Sept. 29, the blog was
pronounced dead today.
It is survived by relatives in
Oakland, Calif., and
Tennessee, although their health is also questionable.
In lieu of flowers, please send reminders to public officials that jumping on the latest technological bandwagon isn't as important as actually maintaining some form of regular communication with constituents.
