Poll: Christie Maintains Lead in N.J. Governor's Race

Gov. Chris Christie remains far ahead of his Democratic challenger, Barbara Buono, and 90 percent of voters don't know enough about her choice for lieutenant governor to form an opinion, according to a poll released today.

 
The governor leads Buono 58 percent to 30 percent, according to the latest Quinnipiac University poll, 
 
Christie has maintained a solid lead over Buono, although she has gained some ground since becoming the party's presumptive nominee earlier this year. In January, 22 percent of voters said they would vote for her for governor.
