cocaine.jpg According to today's Washington Post, Washington, DC, city council member (and former mayor) Marion Barry tested positive for cocaine in a court-ordered drug test last fall, which he was required to take after pleading guilty to misdemeanor tax charges.

Of course, Barry's risen from the ashes (or, ahem, smoke) before. He was arrested during his third term as DC mayor in 1990 after being videotaped smoking crack. But he served his time and was elected to a fourth term in 1994.

Will this incident derail his latest comeback? Or will DC residents forgive him all over again?
