Both my colleague Penelope Lemov and I have both written about New York City's recent ad campaign aimed at curbing obesity. The poster ads, launched by the city's public health department this fall, depict globules of fat flowing out of bottles of sports drinks and sodas. The tagline? "Don't Drink Yourself Fat."
If you thought those print ads were gross -- and you'd be right -- then get a load of the city's new video ad:
Wow, that is...disgusting. But I guess it's somewhat effective. I mean, it certainly makes an impact.
