Mayoral Politicking is a Drag

dirtwoman.gif Politicians on the campaign trial make a lot of lofty promises. But here's one that I think would actually be kept:

Donnie Corker, aka Dirtwoman, says he'll dress in drag every day if elected as Richmond's next mayor.

Yes, Corker -- who is the first person to declare his candidacy to succeed Richmond, Va., mayor Douglas Wilder next year -- promises that if he's elected, he'll wear women's clothes in office.

As far as I know, Corker is the only born-again-Christian-former-prostitute-former-felon-transvestite running for local office right now.

I'm pretty sure John Waters is his campaign director.
