Now comes
news that the humuhumunukunukuapua'a may be reclaiming its title as the official fish of the state of Hawai'i. (The humuhumunukunukuapua'a's official certification expired in 1990).
Clearly, Hawai'i's humuhumunukunukuapua'as' status is the result of pro-apostrophe lobbyists.
