Someone is currently selling a vintage chair from the Illinois House of Reps. The listing says that the chair "retired" in 1977, and "holds many secrets from that era."
I'll bet. According to the seller, one of the chair's former occupants was George Ryan, the former governor who is now on trial for corruption charges. I'm not sure if that adds or detracts to the value. Either way, bidding starts at one grand.
