Here's a cute little story: Brandon Dickens tried to skip out on jury duty in Michigan, returning late after lunch. Judge David Reader got mad and ordered Dickens to spend three days observing a trial, and also to write a paper about the history of jury service.

Dickens turned in his paper and it didn't take long for the judge to figure out that he'd plagiarized most of it from the Internet. Reader tacked on an extra day of trial observation duty and is making Dickens redo his homework as well.
