Washington City Paper, the local alternative weekly, has an amusing story about the Cropp campaign foibles, suggesting she's been the worst campaigner since the District won home rule.
Our coverage hasn't been as rigorous. One staffer, clearly puzzled by the campaign, went so far as to throw his vote open to your suggestions.
But we have, in our small but humble way, offered you some signs that Cropp might be in trouble. First, there was the time her campaign sign adorned a burned-out vehicle for several days.
Now it's Election Day and we've been amused to watch the fellow standing 13 floors below us, propping up a huge Cropp sign. All day long, he's been facing, as you can see, the wrong way along a one-way street.
