Confectionary Man Takes on Candy Tax

Candy became subject to the sales tax in Washington state on June 1 as part of a package to raise revenues in an effort to span a $2.8 billion budget shortfall.

Candy is an easy target. But a long time confectionary man emerged to defend his craft against the new levy on public policy grounds.
