Tomicah Tillemann is the executive director of the Digital Impact and Governance Initiative at New America. He leads a team working to develop a new generation of open-source technology platforms to power the public sector. He also oversees the work of New America's Blockchain Trust Accelerator and Responsible Asset Allocator Initiative. Previously, he served as senior advisor to two U.S. secretaries of state and on the staff of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He received his B.A. from Yale University and holds a Ph.D. from the School for Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University.
