Maya Alper is a senior associate at ideas42, where she focuses on promoting civic engagement in the U.S. Before joining ideas42, she served as an intern at the Brennan Center for Justice. Previously, she worked as a research assistant at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and as a field intern at Gulu Women's Economic Development and Globalization in northern Uganda. She holds a B.A. in economics and political science from Barnard College of Columbia University.
