Elizabeth J. Reynoso works on increasing entrepreneurship through equitable contracting and inclusive procurement, particularly with businesses repairing food systems. She co-founded the Closing the Gaps Network and worked with more than 30 cities in the development of public-sector strategies to close racial income and wealth gaps during her tenure as associate director at the national nonprofit Living Cities. Reynoso continues to work to influence and leverage the purchasing power of large-scale food buyers and entrepreneurship ecosystems to transform regional and national food systems.

Reynoso is a former city policy director, international human-rights worker and social-justice advocate. With the Frontline public television series “Drug Wars,” her team won a Peabody Award for its 30-year history of U.S. drug policy and its effect on the world economy and U.S. foreign policy.
