An extended image ad from Martin O'Malley called "Belief" reinforces the belief that the Maryland Governor is getting ready for something - perhaps even the White House.

Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, a 2009 GOVERNING Public Official of the Year, has done little to tamp down speculation that he is laying the groundwork for a presidential campaign in 2016 except to say that if Hillary Clinton does not run, he'd be ready.

A two and a half minute video called "Belief" posted on the Martin O'Malley YouTube channel rehearses his political biography from his days as a city councilor "walking the mean streets of Baltimore" in the 1990s to the city's data-driven mayor who pioneered the CityStat and went on do the same with StateStat as governor of Maryland.
The extended image ad hinges on O'Malley's use of data to solve problems and what the voice over announcer intones is his "assault on hopelessness."
