Racist Post Doesn't Stop New Jersey GOP Chairman From Supporting Candidate

Atlantic County Republican Chairman Keith Davis said Tuesday he won’t withdraw his support for congressional candidate Seth Grossman, despite Grossman’s sharing of a racist article from a white nationalist website on social media.

Atlantic County Republican Chairman Keith Davis said Tuesday he won’t withdraw his support for congressional candidate Seth Grossman, despite Grossman’s sharing of a racist article from a white nationalist website on social media.

“You can say many things about Seth Grossman, but the man doesn’t have a racist bone in his body,” Davis said in a statement. “He made a serious error by linking to this horrendous webpage that he has now disavowed. I take him at his word.”

Media Matters for America, a liberal watchdog group, revealed Monday that Grossman, the GOP candidate in New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District, had shared online an article from the white nationalist website American Renaissance that claimed blacks are a "threat to all who cross their paths.” Grossman praised the article as “what so many people, black, white and Hispanic, whisper to me privately but never dare say out loud publicly.”
