Republican Gov. Rick Snyder – who supports Medicaid expansion – is cutting short his trade trip to Israel and is expected to be back in Michigan by mid-morning Thursday, according to Lt. Gov. Brian Calley. Snyder's goal is to persuade Senate Republicans to support the Medicaid plan before they leave for summer break, which could be at the end of this week.
