Scott, a multi-millionaire who self-funded his first 2010 campaign and then became a prodigious fundraiser for his reelection four years later, has long admired Trump but stopped just short of endorsing him before his big March 15 Florida primary win. After that, Scott called on fellow Republicans to unite behind their eventual nominee.
