IBM's US National Laboratories are wrestling with the complex in lakes problem where they have petabytes of intelligence information coming in every hour. They have to examine this

data to find if there are threats to our critical infrastructure. This can include video feeds, sensor data, all kinds of different streaming information that has to be filtered to find what's meaningful with that data, but also not to get consumed with a vast amount of things that are coming at us every minute.
