Effective procurement is at the heart of state government’s ability to deliver services and maintain the public’s trust. That is why the Governing Institute routinely assesses state procurement organizations and their practices. Our experience tells us that highlighting the attributes of successful state organizations can be a catalyst for broad improvement in procurement processes throughout the nation.

To help achieve this goal, the Governing Institute is sending an online state procurement survey to all state procurement offices on November 1, 2018. The survey will close on December 14, 2018. The results will be reported to procurement agencies and decision-makers – including state governors – to help us better understand the successful actions of today and what can be done to meet tomorrow’s challenges.

Please join us to learn more about the upcoming survey, including:

  • What to expect
  • How to prepare
  • Who should complete the survey
  • Key survey dates
  • Reporting the survey results
  • Future survey plans
