Governing U is an index of public sector management and policy degrees from universities across the country. It provides a single source for browsing offerings from Master of Public Administration (MPA) , the Master of Public Policy (MPP) and the Executive MPA and certificate and other professional programs designed specifically for the education needs of working professionals in public service. Faculty members represent diverse backgrounds and academic disciplines. Many faculty hold joint appointments in other University departments. On a select basis, practitioners of public administration are engaged to teach courses in various areas of specialization, and frequently visit classes as guest speakers.
The School houses several institutes and centers, including the Rombach Institute and the National Institute for Civil Discourse. The School also enjoys a close relationship with members of public affairs and nonprofit communities.
