The city of El Paso is a finalist for this year's City Accelerator project, which is focused on helping cities build and grow their network of local businesses and entrepreneurs of color. Cities that are chosen for the project will receive valuable support and resources from experts and peers to help them achieve their goals.

What is El Paso proposing?

The city of El Paso proposes enhancing the services offered to local entrepreneurs through the El Paso Public Library WorkPLACE program (Public Literacy Access for Careers and Entrepreneurship). This partnership, modeled after community partnerships led by other urban libraries, would extend economic and educational assistance through small business development and workforce agencies.
