The Salt Lake Tribune obtained the credit card records for Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson. The result? Rocky's a good tipper.
The mayor is under investigation for his spending, specifically a trip he made to Italy to discuss the 2006 Winter Olympics. And last week, Anderson reimbursed the city $458 after a dinner and bar tab from July raised eyebrows.
But if Anderson's opponents want evidence of misuse of public money, it looks like they're not going to get it from his city credit card receipts. The majority was spent on travel to city-related conferences, and the rest was spent supporting local Salt Lake City restaurants and businesses.
Oh, and the tipping? 20 percent. Rocky may have just locked up the food-service industry vote.
