You often see rankings that compare cities in terms of their average commute times. But here's a chart that puts the whole thing into better perspective.
It converts commuting time into other pursuits you could be doing -- watching The Lord of the Rings, listening to Wagner's epic Ring cycle, or reading "War and Peace."
Not that you probably would be doing those things.
But you could.
