Recall Blago? Reader Responses

Blagojevich_2 Today's Chicago Tribune has posted several readers' reponses to yesterday's opinion piece calling for a recall of Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

The comments are really thoughtful and diverse:

I absolutely support a recall provision. I actually was shocked when I found out Illinois didn't have one. I also would support recalling this current governor who is perhaps the most incompetent governor to ever serve in any state.[...]

Eric Mathiasen

I've never been a fan of the recall vote. There are checks and balances placed in the system already. A politician who is constantly looking over his or her shoulder for recall votes is more apt to do what is popular in the now, rather than what is better for the constituents long-term.[...]

Peter Bianco

And many, many others. Definitely worth checking out.
