Political Discourse SMACKDOWN!

The level of political debate in Tampa was ratcheted up (or down?) a few levels over the weekend.

In a debate on the local cable access show "The Bleepin' Truth," the personal verbal barbs -- "You're fat!", "You're a liar!" -- escalated to physical battery when Republican radio host Tony Katz threw a chair at Hillsborough County Commissioner candidate Joe Redner.

"I'm fine. I have a little swelling on my arm," Redner said later. "A little bit of soreness on the side of my head, but I will be fine."
