Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak: Fiscal Crisis is a "Wind in Our Sails"




Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak was in Asia last week, meeting with Chinese officials and promoting his city as a business and tourism destination. So he couldn't speak at the kickoff of our Managing Technology conference in his fair city.

But Rybak is so dedicated to good government management, and such a good friend of Governing, that he made an unscheduled appearance on the final day of the confab -- mere hours after stepping off a plan from a 10-day trip through China!

Governing's Ellen Perlman caught Rybak's appearance on her Flip camera (Rybak's presence was so unanticipated that Ellen's video actually starts in a little bit after the mayor had begun speaking).
