Making it More Fun to Take the Stairs

Cities from New York to Missoula, Montana, are urging residents to "take the stairs" instead of an escalator or elevator. It's a free, easy, common-sense way to combat obesity.

But what if taking the stairs were more fun?

Somebody sent me this video that's pretty great. Full disclosure: It's sponsored by Volkswagen, so I guess it's sort of an ad. But it's still a cute idea:

See?  Cute, right?  Maybe cities oughta think about it.

But also? Hollywood figured this out years ago.
