Granholm wins Michigan, too. I was in Michigan a few weeks ago. The buzz was that Dick Devos had peaked too soon. He had only one issue -- which was the right one, jobs. But polling there suggested that voters blamed Bush for the economy, rather than Granholm.
Devos had TV ads up since February. He began to seem like the incumbent and he never closed the deal.
