Frayed Nerves

A student was waving a gun late Monday night outside the University of Virginia's engineering building. It turned out that his reasons were entirely innocent -- he was being filmed as part of a student project -- but it caused a strong reaction.

A dozen university and city police raced to the scene and several female students were taken away, apparently suffering from panic attacks.

The student who had held the gun -- a BB gun -- was arrested, as it's campus policy to ban all types of projectile weapons, according to this Cavalier Daily account.

We'll be seeing more stories like this, I imagine.
