Except the Real One Doesn't Have A Safety Harness

This video has been making the rounds online, and it's really interesting. It's from SpeculativeBubble.com, a blog that originally tracked the dotcom boom but now follows real estate.

The video uses house prices from 1890-2007, adjusted for inflation, to plot a roller coaster simulation.

Be sure you watch it until the end: The recent real estate explosion makes for a dizzying climb at the end of the ride. Of course, depending on how housing prices perform this year, you might be in for one terrorizing fall.
