Evidence of Political Confusion

Bob Leeper, a Kentucky state senator, is running for reelection. Nothing remarkable about that, except that the former Democrat who turned Republican last time around is now running as an independent.

To make the race more interesting, the new Republican nominee is a former congressman who pled guilty in federal court to corruption charges. Oh, and the Democrat supports many of the Kentucky GOP's major platform items.

Who says that party doesn't matter?
