The latest news out of Kentucky's blog blocking scare is that the state has blocked access to a Bible study site, among other religious pages.

State officials initially said they were blocking blogs and porn sites. After some religious sites turned up in the mix, they explained that these had been banned because they were drawing heavy traffic.

But just as it can be hard to define just what is a blog, so can it be difficult for Kentucky officials to tell Bible study from pornography. Or so it would seem.

The Associated Press reports: "Tony Romero, a project manager for the California-based organization that operates blueletterbible.org, said certain biblical terms found on the site, such as 'bondage,' may explain why it's blocked."
