Buckle Up. No, Seriously.

Public service announcements don't always make the most interesting television.

But NJ Gov. Jon Corzine -- who, of course, survived a horrific traffic accident last month, despite the fact that he wasn't wearing a seatbelt -- has taped a PSA that's powerful and pretty moving.

It starts off with the arresting line: "I'm New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine, and I should be dead."

Released just in time for the traffic-heavy Memorial Day weekend traffic, the ad seems like an effective way to grab some people's attention.

Meanwhile, the a New Hampshire Senate committee is trying to kill a bill that would end the state's status as the only one without a mandatory seatbelt law.  I don't want to get into the fray too much on that one, but, really, New Hampshire?  No mandatory seatbelt requirements?  Live free or die, indeed.

Anyway, here's Corzine's PSA. Think about it when you're motoring about this holiday weekend.
