What is it about bad times and weapons?
The Los Angeles Times is reporting that courthouse screeners in L.A. County seized banned weapons last year, up significantly from 199,015 the year before.
Meanwhile, the St. Petersburg Times says budget woes in Florida have forced state officials to go slow on processing the 95,000 requests for permits to carry guns before the state.
