Fast-food chain KFC is offering to fix four cities' pothole problems in a public-private partnership designed to help advertise the freshness of the restaurant's food, reports Advertising Age .
Four cities -- selected at random from a pool of nomineed -- will join Louisville, Ky. in having their streets "refreshed." and their potholes filled and temporarily chalked with the chain's logo.
In a press release, Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson praised the partnership for solving a problem that cities may not have the funds to fix.
If interested, mayors can e-mail nominations from now until April 1, with the randomly selected winners tentatively scheduled to be announced April 2.
