What to Watch at 11
Update: We wrote this in advance, but clearly the thing to watch is Obama going over 270 thanks to California.
The marquee race in this time slot is the Washington State gubernatorial contest. Democratic incumbent Christine Gregoire has been in a tough rematch against Dino Rossi. We expect she'll prevail but this one will take some time.
California has a mother lode of ballot measures. The headliner, of course, is Prop. 8, which would ban gay marriage. But, the state is also voting on everything from abortion to animal rights to marijuana to high-speed rail.
Oregon also has a bunch of hot topics, including merit pay for teachers and bilingual education.
