Scott Runs for Congress
Michigan state Sen. Martha Scott has announced her bid for Congress against Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick. Former state Rep. Mary Waters was already in the race, Michigan Liberal reports.
Kilpatrick hasn't faced a serious challenger since winning the seat back in 1996. Can't help but wonder whether she's been weakened by fallout from her son's problems.
