Running After Carter
In the wake of Indiana Attorney General Steve Carter's announcement that he won't run again, the Indy Star lays out the field: One potential candidate ...
One potential candidate for attorney general is Secretary of State Todd Rokita. Likely joining him in the race are Deputy Attorney General Greg Zoeller and Indianapolis attorney Tom Wheeler, chairman of the State Election Commission. Another possibility is Kyle Hupfer, who ran the Department of Natural Resources for Daniels.
On the Democratic side, life is not so complicated. Indianapolis attorney Linda Pence, a former Justice Department official, is expected to be nominated at the party's June convention. Pence was the first woman to become a name partner in a top-10 Indianapolis law firm.
