Skip Campbell makes his decision not to run against Florida Sen. Jeff Atwater official. Realtor Linda Bird will replace Campbell in a race Democrats still hope they can win.
In other Florida news, CQ has joined Rothenberg and Cook in moving Republican Congressman Tom Feeney, a former House Speaker, from the "favored" to the "leans" category in his reelection race. Feeney has been under investigation for accepting travel from disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff.
